Minnesota VIKINGS classic 

project objective

Build upon the Vikings Classic Brand by introducing legacy design elements that feel fresh and exciting.

Screen printing elements were established to upgrade the classic brand with more vintage textures and fun visuals.

Collaborated with True North to both find and create classic Vikings imagery to be used as “ink stamps” layered into the graphics.

Inspired by vintage watercolor sports posters, this design breaks away from the Classic refresh in a unique and attention-grabbing way for social media, while still staying in-line with the vintage asset theme.

This was created to promote the team wearing our Classic uniform for a home game against Atlanta on Sept. 14, 2025.

This vintage Viktor spotlight was inspired by an old Vikings program page, and incorporates new cartoon illustrations of the mascot.

This was used in the Classic playbook as well as social media to promote Viktor The Viking.

CLASSIC KICKOFF CONCERT

A logo and visual identity were developed for the Vikings Kickoff Concert based on this brand refresh.

Combined the Classic brand with a western illustration style to honor Jared Allen’s legacy as a Viking.

This design was inspired by a vintage Vikings program, but developed to include more western elements to reflect Jared’s identity as well as the corresponding cover story.

final design

The final illustration implements a movie poster format inspired by old Spaghetti Western film posters. This is reflected in the illustration style and western elements as well, such as ropes and cacti.

10 seasons at u.s. bank stadium playbook cover

Continued project theme through the design of another playbook cover.

Combined Classic brand with illustrations that represent U.S. Bank Stadium’s legacy over the past decade.

Instead of western elements that were thematically tied to Jared Allen, this takes a different approach to represent the memories of U.S. Bank Stadium. These visuals evoke more of a classic scrapbook collage, combining memorable moments from the stadium’s 10 year history.

PLAYBOOK STORY

This scrapbook style was inspired by the playbook’s cover story, which highlights some of these greatest moments in a handwritten style.
